I think this is a really great use of type. I really like that you did not take the easy way out and just crop around to make the outline.

I'm not sure I'd go with an outline that ameyer suggested. I think the type creates the form without any issues. I think this is a great concept and execution.

Dig it - great example of the flexibility of type. Really love the use of different weights and contrasts of font specimens to create the individual state boarders. The only element I think is weak is the typesetting of "PROBAMA NATION" - kinda ruins the composition for me. I second MistaJordan's comment - great message!

love this idea! a simple version of a paula scher look alike paintings? but type is really weak. It would have being outstanding with a powerful well executed type. Do a second version.
